The story
I wanted to practise exploring geographical data and discovered the food ratings data available from the UK Food Standards Agency. I intend to work on some mapping analysis in due course, but for this first project I decided to explore food hygiene ratings across different business types in the UK. It was my first time building a waffle chart, and I found this article by Andy Kreibel very helpful in making this visual.
